Yo guys. I want to start off this post by encouraging everyone to pay when you ride a skatepark, don't duck and hide from the owner or manager. In this country and especially Cape Town some of our parks are not goverment funded, which means money from skatepark users are needed to run the park. As soon as guys stop paying the park will not be as regularly maintained and as soon as the ramps get a little sketchy, skaters stop coming, and lets face it, they are the majority and we need them to come to parks so that the park can get money. Gen X means a lot to the locals, just as much as the Radloff mini means to the Somerset locals. I am not a 100% certain what is happening with the Gen X park but it is currently locked and no sessions are allowed.
Anyways, that's just my 2 cents, here are some shots from another visit to Table View.
Charles was getting super close to whips and as soon as my camera came out he landed his first one!
This photo might not be perfect but I'm still proud of it. Epikco owner with a wallride 180 in busy traffic conditions. I was sitting with my cam on a tri-pod getting cursed by taxi drivers in the middle of a circle, was a good laugh! Watch out for some footage!
Again with a downside, vader jam and can jam.
Blake surprised me with these sweet one foot tables.
And my host for the visit, Nic Vorster with a tweaked out T-bog.
