Table Zoo

Yo guys. I want to start off this post by encouraging everyone to pay when you ride a skatepark, don't duck and hide from the owner or manager. In this country and especially Cape Town some of our parks are not goverment funded, which means money from skatepark users are needed to run the park. As soon as guys stop paying the park will not be as regularly maintained and as soon as the ramps get a little sketchy, skaters stop coming, and lets face it, they are the majority and we need them to come to parks so that the park can get money. Gen X means a lot to the locals, just as much as the Radloff mini means to the Somerset locals. I am not a 100% certain what is happening with the Gen X park but it is currently locked and no sessions are allowed.
Anyways, that's just my 2 cents, here are some shots from another visit to Table View.

Charles was getting super close to whips and as soon as my camera came out he landed his first one!

This photo might not be perfect but I'm still proud of it. Epikco owner with a wallride 180 in busy traffic conditions. I was sitting with my cam on a tri-pod getting cursed by taxi drivers in the middle of a circle, was a good laugh! Watch out for some footage!

Again with a downside, vader jam and can jam.

Blake surprised me with these sweet one foot tables.

And my host for the visit, Nic Vorster with a tweaked out T-bog.

Keep It Local

 Awkward spot made dialed

I check this spot out pretty often and its never ridable, although in summer it might be possible.

 Laid back 360

Me with a grizz air of some sorts.

I live in such a rad place.

Long Time No Post

Been far too long since the last post! But sitting with some footage that will hopefully make up for it!

Exams

So all of GBBMX's viewers who are still in high school (myself included) will be starting exams within the next week or so. For me this means less filming and shooting for the blog. I do however have pictures stored on my hard drive for this very reason. So if you are studying and feel like a break, come check out the blog for some pics or whatever other news that comes up for the next month. Good luck to all those writing. Study hard and ride harder!

30 Deep Street Ride.

This was quite the session. Once again James got a bunch of guys together for a street mission. He made a facebook event and about 30 guys showed up at H-street on Friday. The mission was full of action!

Moe - tailwhip

Nic Vorster with a sweet turndown!

Not quite BMX. But Eric is more involved in the Cape Town BMX scene than most BMXers!

Killian - Tbog

Werner did this so many times for the camera. slow manual on a skinny curved wall, with a tuck no hander at the end!

This stood out amongst all of the tricks that went down on Friday. I would of been impressed if Johan just hopped over it, but I guess a 180 is cool too.

Killian - toothpick

If I'm not mistaken this guys name is Tucker, and he had some cool moves, like this table.

This rail claimed a few guys in the crew. Next time boys...

Such a rad spot. People walking past were getting stoked on seeing a bunch of guys doing tricks on this bank. This picture is my favourite from the session.Werner - downside whip.
